Feb 22, 2009 Todd Smith: Solving the Problem of Homelessness Among U.S. Veterans

Montclair- Over 60 area residents gathered at Artistic Illuminations, a lighting store, to attend a book signing and fund raiser for homeless veterans. Organized by Todd Smith, author of I Pledge Allegiance, the event garnered several thousand dollars for Community Hope, a Parsippany non-profit that has helped transition homeless vet’s into housing and jobs since 2004. The attendees included the Mayor of Montclair, as well as a NJ State Assemblyman. Music, food and the venue were all donated by local businesses. CMS Midatlantic, operator of five NJ not-for-profit cemeteries, sponsored the event.
